Dark ruby. Youthful, vibrant. Garrigue, dark red fruits, soil and dill on the nose. Crunchy, packed palate of sage, iron and savoury berries. The tannins are firm and savoury in 2018 - this will benifit greatly from a few years in the cellar. This is ripe Cabernet Franc that never forgets it is still varietal Cabernet Franc. Now – 2026+.

The 2018 vintage was slightly cooler than 2017 and has yielded more restrained, focused Old Vines Syrah - more akin to 2010. On the tighter more delineated side and even less opulent. The aromatics this year are amazing and speak to great things to come with some bottle age. Look for pretty red fruits, lilacs and poutpourri, licorice, the typical game and leather notes all wrapped in a touch of black pepper. We think a very age worthy vintage (time will tell) we think this will be wonderful over the next 10+ years. Please decant.
